Trekking Overview

The Marangu Route, also known as the “Coca-Cola Route,” is the only Kilimanjaro trail that offers hut accommodation, making it a comfortable and popular choice for climbers. This 5-day trek takes you through diverse landscapes—from dense rainforest to moorland, alpine desert, and the icy summit of Uhuru Peak. Although considered one of the easier paths technically, the quick ascent makes good acclimatization essential. This route is perfect for adventurous travelers seeking a shorter and scenic climb with stable mountain huts and well-maintained trails.
